It's history steeped in Indo-Tibetan trade and Tibeto-Buddhist folk culture, the trek to the first viewing point before the pass has become a must do among trekkers worldwide. Primarily famous for its stunning view of Mount Kanchendzonga (8586m) and a trail lined with rhododendrons, pines, magnolias, spruces and lush green meadows and pastures, the trekking trail also boasts views of 14 other big summits. Spread out over 9 days, the trek from the road head at the town of Yuksom, covers a distance of 80 km's and a climb uptill 4600 metres.
All these features make it the flagship trek of the New Age Pilgrim.
